Ayala Hillside Estates Recreation Center
Michelle contacted me last year for Rafael's baptism. Unfortunately, I wasn't available anymore, so to make sure she could get me for Rafael's birthday, she made the booking as early as six months before the party! (Another reason for this is because Michelle and her hubby are based abroad and they didn't expect to be able to come home until a few days before the party.)
It was a very rainy evening but everyone enjoyed the program and the food and we got pretty good shots.:)
Here are some photos from the party:
A couple of photos of Rafael at his grandparents house.
Rafael and Mom
When we got to the venue, I saw a TV in one corner and wondered what it was for. It turned out it was also the day of the UAAP game between Ateneo and La Salle, and the grown-ups had something to watch while the kids enjoyed the party.
Here are more photos from Rafael's party.

Luis Antonio
September 16, 2007
Greenwich Clubhouse, Corinthian Gardens
It was my third time to photograph Luis in the span of three months. This time, I was at his Madagascar-themed birthday party.
We got to the venue early so, as usual, Nalyn (Luis's mom) was still very busy with the set-up. Before long, guests started arriving. Luis, however was still nowhere in sight because, according to Nalyn, they wanted him to be well-rested once the party started. (This is a very good tip for those whose kids will also be having parties.)
Finally, when Luis arrived, people started gathering around him. They couldn't get enough of his cute costume! I couldn't stop taking pictures of him! Luis seems to be quiet and shy but the smile on his face showed that he loved the attention and he was having a great time at his party.:)

Eisha
September 2, 2007
Makati Sports Club
I first photographed Eisha during her baptism in January and when I saw her again when we did a pre-event pictorial for her 1st birthday, I couldn't believe how much she's grown. She has become such a happy and friendly baby. I really enjoyed photographing her. Of course, it doesn't hurt that her parents, Laser and Layah are also very nice.
We started the shoot at the family's favorite hotel, the Peninsula Manila. When we got there, Eisha was already dressed. We couldn't stay long but we did manage to get lovely portraits of Eisha and the family. It was especially fun when Eisha started flirting with the video camera (I forgot the name of the videographer that Layah and Laser hired).
This is Eisha telling us how much she loves Mickey Mouse.
And make no mistake about it, Eisha is ONE! And yes, she's missing a shoe in this picture.:D
Then we were off to the Makati Sports Club, where the Zobel Hall was beautifully decorated for the Mickey Mouse-themed party. And then the real party started.
The cake.
The kids enjoying the show.
This was taken after the party when the party decors were already coming down. Eisha and her cousin KC have fun with the balloons.
