Royal Palm Residences Clubhouse
About a week after we did Sophie's portrait session, it was time for the big celebration. The party venue was right across the street from the birthday family's home so it was very convenient going back and forth to take shots of the family and to take pictures of the details at the venue. I was already getting a bit heavy at this point being 5 months pregnant, so I asked my sister Pie to shoot the event with me. Yes, she's getting quite good, and I'm glad she had my back that day.
As always, Mommy Sieggy and Daddy Russel were so nice to us. Sieggy even kept checking up on me, telling me to take it easy and to rest. I told her her that if I rested every time she told me to, I wouldn't be able to shoot any photos of the party at all! Hehehe.
It was the first time for me to shoot a Dibo-themed party. I was quite excited because my nephew Liam loves Dibo!:) Below are just some of my favorite shots from that day...
This beautiful dress from Baby Fashionistas was just one of Sophie's outfits for the party. And look at thoes cute shoes from Baby Gap!
I went to the family's lovely home to take some portraits while Pie continued taking pictures of the details. Here are a couple of shots of pretty Sophie.
A few shots of the beautiful family.:)
Venue decorations were by Kidstar Kastles. Look at all those colors!
I LOVE this colorful entrance decor!
The cake and cupcakes looked delicious!
Some of the moms during one of the games.
Chayno was host and magician. He was a big hit with the guests!
Blowing Sophie's first birthday candle.
We took some more shots after most of the guests had left.
I asked if I could take some shots of Sophie with her cute Dibo stuff toy at the same spot where we took her portrait shots a week before.
Love her smile!:)
